We Are the Champions!

The American League Champions, that is!

My beloved Detroit Tigers are going to the World Series!  I made it home from soccer practice just in time to see the final out.  Now, who wants to buy me a ticket?

JD had a great birthday.  We celebrated with our family and friends last Saturday so yesterday was pretty low key, but she said she had a great day.  She only had a half day of school and she went to McDonald's for lunch with three of her friends.  We shared the cupcakes I made Wednesday night with her soccer teammates and after dinner she got a special cupcake for herself:

Cherry Chip {JD's favorite}, Salted Caramel, Apple Cider, Toasted Almond, Vanilla Stuffed and Strawberry.  Yum-O.
