Midweek Brain Dump

  • Workout A completed on Monday and cardio interval {3.1 miles, baby!} completed last night.  BodyWorks+Abs tonight {no excuses this week}.
  • I threw country style ribs and beer in the crock pot this morning.  I hope to God it does not taste like crap.
  • I really need to read.  I have not picked up a book yet this year.
  • I have been on an oatmeal kick.  Alicia turned me on to this recipe: 1/3 of a banana {sliced or mashed}, 1/3 cup of oats, 1/3 cup of milk {I alternate between skim and almond}.  Mix together, cover tightly {I use a mason jar} and stick it in the fridge before you go to bed.  In the morning, remove the lid, heat it in the microwave for 45 seconds {or not if you like cold oats}, and add any toppings you like {I've been partial to chia seeds, dried cranberries, cinnamon and sliced almonds}.  Super easy, super quick and super filling.
  • I'm registering for my half marathon on Friday.  This scares me to death.
  • I need to run outside.  Soon.  The treadmill is killing me.
