Today is the day we stuff ourselves silly with paczki while we discuss what we’re going to give up for six weeks.
I haven’t decided just yet what I’m going to give up {I suggested sex but D said no go}. I have some thoughts, I just need to evaluate what’s realistic and attainable.
Schedule:
Monday – Run Walk/Run {2 miles} + Stretch {NTC Marathon Prep}
Tuesday – REST {first rest day in more than a week!}
Wednesday – Run + BodyWorks
Thursday – Strength
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Strength
Sunday – Run + Strength
I really should have rested yesterday, but I knew I wouldn’t be getting any activity in tonight so I pushed myself and went to the gym. I had planned to run 2 miles but my legs were Jell-O so it turned into a walk/run. Went home and stretched it out with NTC Marathon Prep workout.
Today will be my first rest day since February 2. I am very much looking forward to it.
Frustration point: number on the scale has not moved in four weeks. It hasn’t gone up {thank God} but it hasn’t gone down. I really wish I had taken my measurements when I started Best Body Bootcamp so I could better gauge my progress. My clothes are definitely fitting better {my jeans no longer feel like they’re strangling me} so I’m trying to stay positive but I really wish that number would start moving to the south.
Any one else celebrate Fat Tuesday? Do you give up anything for Lent?

If Best Body Bootcamp is anything like my Body Pump class you will see some serious changes in your body. Keep up the good work :) www.colorushealthy.com
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca! I'm trying to stay positive but sometimes it's just so hard! :(
DeleteI need to check out that NTC workout. I haven't been using those enough.
ReplyDeleteI am loving NTC. So many options and they all have step by step picture and video instructions. Kara Goucher's running stretches are awesome to do after a run. Check it out and let me know what you think.
DeleteI say every year I'm giving up sex... Hubs won't let me either. Shocking, I know. I thought about social media.... but am afraid to go too overboard. I've already been off a lot of sugar so if I do that I feel like I'm just doing something I'm already doing, you know? Guess I need to figure it out, huh?
ReplyDeleteI still haven't really figure it out, either.
