Enough said.
PS: Have you liked my Facebook page yet? Yes, I’m needy like that.
Tuesdays are crazy days, as I have to leave work early to pick JD up at one practice, take her friend home and then drop her at another practice. Yesterday, I had time to run three errands before dropping her at the second practice. JD couldn’t understand why I was so happy about it, but it totally made my day.
One of those errands was picking up my bib for Sunday’s race. No t-shirts this year.
Knit caps instead! This race is always cold and snowy so this is perfect. I am running solo since Joey is sidelined with her stupid IT band again. I tried to convince JD to run in her place, but no dice. I like running with Joey because she pushes me to work harder than I would if were by myself. I’ll just have to really keep myself in check.
What’s the most unique item you’ve ever gotten from a race? Do you prefer a t-shirt?

Love the idea of a hat! How cute!
ReplyDeleteI personally like shirts.. but mostly only race for medals.. ;)
I only have one medal. One. I really need to work on that...

DeleteI love the hat! I think I've always gotten a shirt, but my race this past weekend had sweatshirts which are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI got a sweatshirt from my first ever race. It was on Memorial Day. It made no sense!
DeleteThat hat is soooo freaking cute! Harry Potter colors, too :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so thick! I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this hat.
Deletesocks............our crowd in NC gives us socks (good technical socks)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! Every runner needs a good pair of socks.
DeleteI got a hoodie sweatshirt from the Middlepark half last year. It w awesome.
ReplyDeleteHoodies are great! I like tech tees, too. But the cotton tees they give out? Who runs in those?
DeleteCame across your blog from AMR! Love your blog! I am orginially from Michigan and I like beer. We have a lot in common. I hope one day to do the Fre Press Marathon just to run to Canada and back. Also, I did the Martian Half last year and it was awesome! Looking forward to reading about your adventures.
